simulation software | Computer software that imitates an actual experience. |

advertisement | A paid public message about goods and services for sale, which is communicated through various media. |
bait and switch | A deceptive advertising method in which the advertiser offers a low-priced item as bait to get shoppers in the store. Once shoppers are in the store, the advertiser tries to switch them to a more expensive item. |
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) | A government agency that helps protect consumer safety by regulating the production, packaging, and labeling of foods, drugs, and cosmetics |
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) | A government agency that sets and enforces safety standards for consumer products and handles consumer complaints. |
redress | To solve a problem. |
warranty | A written promise by a manufacturer that a product will meet speciļ¬ed standards of performance. |
