Name 4 types of control? Stock Control,Quality Control,Credit Control,Financial Control
Explain Span of control? The number of employees that report to one supervisor, if the manager has responsibility for 10 employees then the span of control is 10.
What factors impact on the size of the span of control? The type of work, expertise of the manager, ability of employees.
Explain the chain of command? refers to how decisions flow from the top of an organisation down through the layers to the bottom.
What is a functional organisational chart? it divides a business into different departments according to management functions eg. marketing, production.
Credit control means? refers to what the firms does to control the amount of credit given, eg 30 days credit and identify to whom goods are sold to on credit.
Credit controller's job is to? Decide if credit should be given,review credit limits, offer incentives to pay on time, make sure customers gets written copy of terms and conditions.
