Lesson 1 Understanding Word

Preview | Gives you an opportunity to see what your printed document will look like. |
Command is located on the file tab in backstage. There you find the printing options. Including printer properties and settings. | |
Quick access toolbar | Located above the ribbon and contains commands that users access most often. |
Repeat | Command repeats your last action. |
Ribbon | Contains commands you use while working within a document. |
Save | In the quick access toolbar for the first time to save your progress. |
Save As | Command listed in the backstage view when you click the file tab when saving a document for the first time. |
Settings | Options to control document-specific print parameters. |
Tabs | Enables you to create, open, save, close, share, print, and view info about your document. |
