Dialog Box | a box that prompts the user for additional information |
Dialog Box Launcher | a small icon on the ribbon that opens the dialog box related to that group |
Group | a collection on related word commands |
I-Beam | when the insertion point changes to a large I |
Quick Access Toolbar | has customizable commands that users access most often |
Tabs | a label section of the Ribbon that contains a group of related tools |
Block Style | it aligns text along the left margin like the date, inside address, salutation, body of letter, closing, signature |
Insertion point | when you start your text |
Menu | a special input tool that lets a user selects commands and open sub menus |
Mixed punctuation | required colon after the salutation and a comma after the closing |
