Term | Definition |

Autocorrect | A feature that replaces symbols, commonly misspelled words, and abbreviations with specific text strings. |
Clipboard | Stores the items for you to paste in another location of the document or another Office file. |
Copy | When you copy text, Word places a duplicate copy in the Clipboard. |
Cut | When you cut text, Word removes it from the original location and places the text in the CLipboard collection |
Document-properties | Identify the creator of the document, the date the document was created, its subject and category, and keywords that can be used to search for the document |
Go To | The Go To commands provides a way to navigate through longer documents quickly |
Navigation Pane | Provides options for browsing and searching in a document |
Object Zoom | Object Zoom in Read Mode enables you to zoom in on objects such as tables, charts, or images. |
Paste | The Paste command then pastes text from the Clipboard to a new location in either the original document or a new document. |
Read Mode | Changes the page layout of the document with a larger font for easier reading, |
Replace | Replace formatting such as a specific font color, bolding, or italics. |
Thumbnails | Page images in word or other Microsoft Office applications |
Wildcard | Wildcard characters find words or phrases the contain specific letter or combinations of letters. |
