Term | Definition |

Autocorrect | feature that replaces symbols, commonly misspelled words, and abbreviations with specific text strings. |
Clipboard | stores the items for you to paste in another location of the document or another office file. |
Copy | word places duplicate copy in the clipboard |
Cut | word removes it from the original location and places the text in the clipboard. |
Document Properties | identify the creator of the document, the date the document was created, is subject and category, and keywords that can be used to search for the document |
Go to | provides a way to navigate through longer documents quickly |
Navigation pane | contains commands for moving and searching through a document |
Object Zoom | in read mode enables you to zoom in on objects such as tables, charts, or images while in read mode |
Paste | command then pastes text from the clipboard to a new location in either original document or new document |
Replace | replace a format such as a specific font color, bolding, or italics. |
Thumbnails | page images are called thumbnails |
Wildcard | characters to find words or phrases that contain specific letters or combinations of letters. |
