Themes, Style Sets & Quick Parts

TermDefinition
Building Blocks Built-in reusable content such as text, graphics, and objects.
Document Theme A set of predefined formatting options that includes theme colors, fonts, and effects.
Field A placeholder that Word uses to insert content into a document.
Pull Quote A small selection of text that is pulled out or quoted from a larger text.
Style Set Predefined collections of styles with fonts and paragraph spacing included.
Text Box A formatted box in which you can insert and position text and/or graphic objects.
Unicode Special Symbols, such as monetary symbols like the pound sign, £, or yen sign, ¥.
Watermarks Built-in text that displays lightly behind text as words, such as confidential, draft, or urgent.
