sarcophagus | a stone coffin, typically adorned with a sculpture or inscription and associated with the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Rome, and Greece |
canopic jars | jars used by the ancient Egyptians during the mummification process to store and preserve the internal organs of their owner for the afterlife |
pyramid | structure with triangular sides |
pharaoh | king of ancient Egypt |
silt | fine sand, clay, or other material carried by running water and deposited as a sediment |
