Interdigital pertaining to between toes
Perianal pertaining to around the anus
Allergen allergy producer
Carcinoma a cancerous tumor
Polydactyly a condition of many toes
Onychectomy surgical removal of a nail
Pododermatitis inflammation of the foot skin
Dermatophytosis a condition of skin "plants" or fungus
Pyoderma a purulent skin disorder
Hyperkeratosis a condition of excessive keratin
Seborrhea excessive secretion of sebum
Laminitis / Founder inflammation of the "quick" of a hoof.
Cornuectomy surgical removal of a horn
Epithelialization the process of epithelial growth
Transdermal pertaining to across or through the skin
Epidermis the most superficial of the skin
Dermis a tough layer of fibroelastic connective tissue
Hypodermis subcutaneous layer
Sebum an oily substance that keeps the skin and fur relatively soft, pliable, and waterproof
Alopecia a disease in which the hair falls out
Purulent Exudate containing pus
