Define BI: Business Intelligence, it is providing makers with valuable information and knowledge by leveraging a variety of sources of data as well as structured and unstructured.
Define Data: Compromises facts, observations, or perceptions which may or may not be correct. Represents raw numbers or assertions, and may therefore be devoid of meaning context or intent.
What is Information? Subset of data, including only those data that possesses context, relevance, and purpose. Involves the manipulation of raw data to obtain more meaningful indication of trends or patterns in the data.
What is Knowledge? Justified beliefs about relationships among concepts relevant to that particular order.
