Did any Loyalists regain citizenship in Georgia? | Yes. But only a few. Many did not, and had to make formal requests to return(which could be dismissed or ignored). The most active and prominent Loyalists were denied any chance of return to their land and the colony. |

What happened at the meeting in Long Swamp in 1782? | The Cherokee agreed to give up land west of the Savannah River, and land south and west of the Tugalo River. There were many meetings such as these between the Indians and the Georgians because Georgia deeply desired to gain more land without conflict. |
