ADRENERGIC refers to activity stimulated by adrenaline

EXOGENOUS originating from outside the body
ADRENOCORTICOTROPIC adrenal cortex stimulating / influence a target cell / tissue
ENDOCRINOPATHY a disease of the endocrine system
HYPERADRENOCORTICISM a condition of excessive adrenal cortex
ADENOHYPOPHYSIS Anterior Pituitary Gland
NEUROHYPOPHYSIS Posterior Pituitary Gland
PARATHYROID beside the thyroid
HYPOTHYROIDISM deficient levels of hormones produced by the thyroid gland
HYPERTHYROIDISM excessive thyroid hormone secretions
ANTIDIURETIC being against urination
HYPOGLYCEMIA a state of low glucose in the blood
HYPERGLYCEMIA a state of excessive glucose in the blood
POLYDIPSIA a condition of much thirst
HYPOCALCEMIA a condition of deficient blood Calcium
SOMATOTROPIC body influencing
GONADOTROPIC gonad influencing
PROLACTIN hormone that stimulate milk production
OXYTOCIN hormone associated with labor and milk letdown
HORMONE chemicals of the body that stimulate various bodily activities
HYPOADRENOCORTICISM Addison's Disease
PHEROMONES a substance secreted to the outside of the body that has a particular scent. These scents elicit certain behaviors in others of the same species
CORPUS LUTEUM a yellowish body formed after rupture of an ovarian follicle
