What type of survey includes in addition to the legal description and sketch, the location, size, and shape of buildings located on the lot? physical (mortgage location or identification) survey
What might an underwriter require to make certain no encroachments or title defects will make title unmarketable? up-to-date survey of the collateral property
How wide are ranges and tiers? 6 miles
The base line and township tiers run which direction? East and West
The prime meridian and ranges run which direction? North and South
What is an example of an informal reference and when can it be used as a legal description? So long as they enable a surveyor to precisely locate the parcel of real estate, a street address is sufficient for use in a listing contract or short-term rental agreements.
