Week 11 General Computer Apps terms

wrap text format setting that adjusts the way text moves around or adjusts to objects on the page
sizing handle small circle, square, or set of dots at the corner or on the side of a selected object that you drag to change the size of the object
grouping assembling two or more objects into a single unit so they can be moved or formatted as one object
format painter command found on the Home tab, Clipboard group that allows you to copy formats from one selection to another
banded when shading has been applied to alternating rows or columns in a table, to help make it more readable
graphics pictures, shapes, etc...that enhance a document by illustrating points, adding meaning, organizing information or adding visual appeal
fill the command that allows you to add color inside a shape or graphic
alt text command found in object-specific tool tabs that allows you to create descriptions of objects for screen readers
outline border that goes around the outside of a shape or other graphic
tab stop location where cursor moves to when Tab key is struck; there is a default or you can set your own stops
