| Term | Definition |

| entrepreneur | a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit. |
| stakeholders | A stakeholder is a party that has an interest in a company and can either affect or be affected by the business. |
| shareholders | an owner of shares in a company. |
| investors | a person or organization that puts money into financial schemes, property, etc. with the expectation of achieving a profit. |
| employerđź—‘ | recruits staff in order for the business to run |
| employee | recruited to work in a business in return for salary/wage |
| producer | takes raw material and transforms them into a finished product. |
| consumer | People who buy or avail of a service for their own purpose. |
| manager | responsible fro the day to day running of a business |
| supplier | supplies a business with raw materials |
| service provider | Provides a service for a business in order for it to operate successfully. Eg. Insurance firms |
