Factors of Emotional Intelligence | Being self-aware, managing emotions, motivations oneself, having empathy, handling relationships |
Emotional distress risk factors | Survived a previous disaster, experienced temporary living arrangement, loss of personal property, or personal or parental unemployment, lost a loved one or friend, nd lack economic stability |
Emotional distress warning signs (Adults) | Eating or sleeping too much or too little, pulling away from people and things, having low or no energy, feeling helpless or hopeless, excessive smoking, drinking or drug use, worrying too much; feeling guilty, trouble readjusting to home or work life |
