GeoLocation | Determining your approximate location from an electronic device such as a computer, cell phone, satellite, etc. |
MetaData | A set of data that describes and gives information about other data |
Data | Facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis |
Spreadsheet | An electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations |
Browser History | The list of web pages a user has visited |
Digital Literacy | the ability to use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information |
Blog | A website or web page, usually run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style |
Dossier | A collection of documents about a particular person, event, or subject |
Derogatory | Showing a critical or disrespectful attitude |
Social Networking | the use of dedicated websites and applications to interact with other users, or to find people with similar interests to oneself |
Viral | An image, video, advertisement, etc., that is circulated rapidly on the internet |
Profile | A visual display of personal data associated with a specific user, or a customized desktop environment |
Privacy Settings | The part of a social networking website that allows you to control who sees information about you |
