What was Hobbes' idea of a social contract between people and their government? (1) One way system. (2) People give up power or rights in exchange for protection. But people lose the right to question, challenge, or change their government.
Explain the type of government that Hobbes believes people should have? (1) A single sovereign, or ruler, with total authority over people. (2) A monarchy.
