column break a code inserted into a multiple column layout that forces text to appear in the next column
dot leader a formatting option that uses a line of periods, or dots between txt and a tab
page break where one page ends and the next page begins
landscape orientation where the long edge of the paper is horizontal

tab stop locations on each line of a document where the cursor stops when the Tab key is pressed
vertical alignment an alignment option that spaces text equally between the bottom and top edges of the page
watermark a faint background image added to each page of a document
autocorrect a software feature that automatically corrects perceived errors in use input
find and replace a feature that searches a document for a series of characters and replaces them with another series of characters
hyperlink a designated word or image with an electronic document that links to another location in the document or to another electronic document
spelling and grammar checker a tool that identifies and corrects misspelled words and grammatical mistakes
thesaurus a tool for finding multiple synonyms for a word
crop a tool used to remove the outer section of an image
smartart a collection of diagrams and images that can be added to Word documents or PowerPoint slides
text wrapping a setting for illustrations and other objects that controls how text flows around, behind, or on top of the objects
cell the intersection of a row and a column in a table
table information organized in rows and columns
cell alignment table layout options that specify how text is aligned within cells
