Inflation a general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money.
Medicare the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older and some younger people with disabilities.
Net income an individual’s income after taking taxes and deductions into account.

Sales tax a tax on sales or on the receipts from sales.
Social security a federal insurance program that provides benefits to retired people and those who are unemployed or disabled.
Altruism the state of being vested with rights, privileges, and duties.
Empathy the ability to understand and share the feelings of the belief of another.
Citizenship the state of being vested with rights, privileges, and duties.
Foresight the ability to predict what will happen or will be needed in the future.
Gratitude the quality of being thankful; ready to show appreciation.
Healthcare the maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health through medical services.
