What does an octagon shaped sign mean? | This eight-sided shape always means stop. You must come to a complete stop at the sign, stop line, pedestrian crosswalk or curb. Wait for any vehicle or pedestrian to clear the way |

What do wrong way, and do not enter signs mean? What could happen if you are driving the wrong way? | These signs mean you cannot drive in that direction. If you drive past these signs you are going in the wrong direction and could get into a head-on crash with vehicles headed your way. Cautiously turn around |

If you see a no left turn sign, you can't turn left but can you make a U turn in Virginia? | No. In Virginia, U-turns are considered as two left turns and are illegal if this sign is posted. |
Normally in Virginia you can go right on red if the way is clear, if there is a no right turn sign can you still proceed? | No. Right turns are illegal when you see either a no turn or red or a no right turn sign. Do not make a right turn when you see these signs. |

A low clearance sign looks like two arrows pointing up and down with numbers in the middle indicating the feet and inches for the clearance height. What does this mean in reference to the height of your vehicle? | The overpass ahead has a low clearance. Do not proceed if your vehicle is taller than the height shown on the sign. |
