Virginia Plan | a proposal that Edmund Randolph of Virginia offered called for two houses in the legislature, with the number of representatives in those houses to be determined by each state’s population or wealth. |
New Jersey Plab | a proposal that William Paterson of New Jersey offeredfor a single house in the legislature and for each state to have one vote. This idea of equal representation would give small states like New Jersey as much power as the large states |
