Precinct | Geographic area with a specific number of voters. |
Propaganda | Techniques used to influence people’s thoughts and behaviors. |
Registrar | Government official responsible for ensuring citizens are legally registered to vote. |
Reasoned Choices | Decisions made by evaluating information. |
Special Interest Group | Group of people united by ONE idea that lobby government officials to make laws regarding their issue. |
Vote | A choice that gets counted |
Voter Turnout | Percentage of voters who actually vote in an election. |
Winner-take-all | Candidate that wins the majority of the popular vote wins ALL of the electoral vote. |
