Integration | Following directions or putting together what you hear or see with what your body does. Playing a game like Simon Says, maneuvering around obstacles, and batting or kicking a ball involve integration |
Discovering Relationships | The more experience children have with manipulating real-world objects, the more proficient they become at putting objects into categories. |
Spatial Relationships | children learn about spatial relationships by fitting things together and taking them apart. Puzzles, wooden blocks, interlocking blocks, and toys that come apart and fit back together are all useful materials for developing this concept. |
