Socratic Method | a form of discussion by asking and answering questions to engage in critical thinking (by doing so, it will illuminate useful ideas) |
Minoan | bronze age civilization on the island of Crete |
Mycenaean | late bronze age civilization that arose after the Minoan civilization |
The Iliad | epic poem written by Homer that is set during the Trojan War |
The Odyssey | epic poem written by Homer that is the sequel to The Iliad |
