Paint Blending | involves tapering or fanning the new paint gradually in to the old paint to provide a smooth transition between the two finishes |

Panel Repairs | involve painting/refinishing a complete body part |

Paint Overlap | refers to the area where one vertical painted area overlaps the new area being painted |
