If a joint has a normal end feel as firm, but upon assessment the PT determines the end feel is hard. What does this indicate? | The only motion with a normal hard end feel is elbow extension. If a joint has a hard end feel when it should not, it is a red flag and the patient/client should be referred immediately to the ED for suspected fracture or dislocation. |
