Bankrupt | Unable to pay debts: Judged legally to be unable to pay off personal debts |
Corrupt | Immoral or dishonest, especially as shown by the exploitation of a position of power or trust for personal gain |
Disrupt | To interrupt the usual course of a process or activity |
Recede | To go back or down from a point or level |
Intercede | To plead with somebody in authority on behalf of somebody else, especially somebody who is to be punished for something |
