define government. it is an organization that makes, enforces and implements political decisions.
functions of government rule making-making of laws that will govern the country. these laws define what is legal and illegal. rule execution- execute and enforce implement laws rule adjudication- interpretation of laws ( conflict resolution mechanism)
stakes in politics -allocation of resources- distribution of wealth and scarce resources -war or peace- political activity may end in either one -Public services- provision of basic public services e.g. public health care, transport, education, infrastructure etc. -the
