Orde of flats BEADGCF
Sharps for major keys Look at the last sharp (farthest from beginning) and go up a half step
Flats for major keys look at the second to last flat and that is the key signature
Flats & sharps for minor keys First, you have to figure out the major key signature, once you get the major you just go down 3 half steps.
