SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission) | regulates the US stock market by making sure investors are given accurate information about a business or investment opportunity. |
FTC (Federal Trade Commission ) | enforces consumer protection laws to prevent fraud and unfair practices. It also works to prohibit the formation of monopolies & encourage competition. |
CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) | ensures the products we use are safe and will issue recalls if the product is found to be dangerous. |
FDA (Food and Drug Administration) | ensures the foods we eat and drink are safe and free from contaminants. |
EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity) | enforces laws that make discrimination illegal in the workplace & oversees various types of work situations. |
EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) | ensures that Americans have clean air, land, and water & enforce laws that protects the environment. |
OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) | has the mission to assure a safe & healthy working conditions for all workers.. |
