| exigency | youre going to have to act fast if you want to get in on this because im not going to hold this offer open long |
| free | ill give you something for nothing |
| bargain | ill give you more than youre paying for |
| glittering generatlity | ill use words that will sound good but the words will be so general that you wont be able to pin down exactly what im saying |
| innuendo | i wont really say that the other product/idea is no good. but ill do a good job of hinting around at it |
| name calling | ill use emotionally loaded words and then youll react emotionally instead of logically |
| card stacking | ill only tell you one side of the story then maybe you wont stop to thing about arguments for the other side |
| oversimplifying | ill give you a simple solution for a complex problem i wont mention that my solution doesnt cover all the angles |
| snob | youre a really superior person if you go with my idea |
| just plain folks | hey im just like you are so i know youll go along with my idea |
| flag waving | youre patriotic if you go along with my idea and youre unpatriotic if you dont |
