tote carry, wield, or convey (something heavy or substantial).
nettles a herbaceous plant which has jagged leaves covered with stinging hairs.
blatting make a bleating sound.
shedding (of a mammal) lose (hair) as a result of molting, disease, or age.
carcass the dead body of an animal.
varmint a troublesome wild animal.
haunches a buttock and thigh considered together, in a human or animal.
frayed (of a fabric, rope, or cord) unraveled or worn at the edge.
stench a strong and very unpleasant smell.
hideous ugly or disgusting to look at.
fussy (of a person) fastidious about one's needs or requirements; hard to please. Full of unnecessary detail or decoration.
recollected remember (something); call to mind.
hamstring any of five tendons at the back of a person's knee.
shuddered (of a person) tremble convulsively, typically as a result of fear or revulsion.
muzzle the projecting part of the face, including the nose and mouth, of an animal such as a dog or horse. The open end of the barrel of a firearm.
romped (especially of a child or animal) play roughly and energetically.
speckled covered or marked with a large number of small spots or patches of color.
clamped hold (something) tightly against or in another thing.
frazzle showing the effects of exhaustion or strain.
