Permissions Settings that control who can access and make changes to files or data.
Encryption A method of converting information into a code to prevent unauthorized access.

Social Engineering Manipulating people into giving up confidential information.
Phishing A type of social engineering where attackers send fraudulent messages to trick you into revealing personal information.
Impersonation Pretending to be someone else to gain access to information or resources.
Baiting Offering something enticing to trick someone into revealing information or installing malware.
Spoofing Disguising communication from an unknown source as being from a known, trusted source.
Digital Footprint The information about you that exists on the internet as a result of your online activity.
Data Permanence The concept that information posted online can last forever and be difficult to remove.
Positive Digital Habits Behaviors that ensure safety, legality, and ethics when using digital tools.
Accessibility Designing digital content so that it can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities.
