guarantee | a formal promise or assurance |

citizen | anyone who was born in the United States, has a parent who is a U.S. citizen or has been naturalized |
natural rights | Writes one has just by existing period examples include life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness |
responsibilities | Civic duties a citizen should do or has to do |
jury duty | the responsibility to act as a member of a jury in court |
evaluate | form an idea from information |
analyze | examine information in detail |
bias | when a source leans towards one opinion or another unfairly |
author | the creator or writer of a source |
Place and time | the location and time that a source was created |
audience | the people for whom the source was intentionally made |
reason | the reason a source was made |
the main idea | the main idea of a source |
entrepreneur | a person who operates a business |
economics | the study of how we make choices to fulfill our months and needs |
need | something that one needs to survive, such as water, food, and shelter |
want | something that one doesn't need to survive but would like to have |
good | something one can physically buy |
service | the work one pays for someone to do something |
risk | the chance and entrepreneur may lose money instead of make money |
profit | grows for one's business |
supply | how much of something that someone has produced |
demand | how much of something people want |
budget | a plan for how you will spend your resources |
Financial budgets | budgets related to money |
savings | when one puts aside part of their money to be saved for later |
chart | a visual representation of information |
graph | a drawing that consists of lines and numbers related to one another |
bar graph | a graph that shows data in bars that match the value they represent |
pie graph | a graph that shows slices that represent values |
naturalization | naturalization a process by which an immigrant can gain citizenship |
APART Test | The test Ohio as America uses to decide whether a source is trustworthy or not |
