Can an absolute value be negative? No
If a single negative number is in parentheses, it is often to separate its negative sign from the _ operation sign
To add integers with the same sign: 1. Ignore the signs. 2. Add the numbers. 3. Put their sign in the answer.
To add integers with different signs: 1. Ignore their signs. 2. Bigger minus smaller. 3. Use the sign of the bigger.
To subtract an integer: Add its additive inverse
Which numbers in a subtraction problem correspond to the addends of an addition problem? Subtrahend and difference
Which number in a subtraction problem corresponds to the sum of an addition problem? Minuend
The product of two integers with different signs is negative
The product of two integers with the same sign is positive
Which numbers in a division problem correspond to the factors of a multiplication problem? divisor and quotient

How is the mean found? By adding together each number and dividing by the number of data points
