Human Resource Management | All activities involved with, acquiring, developing and compensating with a company's employees |
Employment law | the section of laws that govern the relationship between parties and their employer, including the rights and responsibilities of both parties |
Business license | permission to start and run a business issued by law |
business permit | a legal document that offers proof of compliance with the certain city or state laws regulating structural appearances and safety as well as the sale of products |
Code of conduct | a written set of rules that outline the acceptable behavior and norms that employees should follow within an organization |
Bankruptcy | a legal proceeding initiated when a person or company is unable to repay outstanding debts or obligations |
Department of Labor | administrators and federal labor laws to guarantee worker's rights to fair, safe and heathy working conditions, including minimum hourly wage and overtime pay, protection against employment discrimination, and unemployment insurance |
Contract | An agreement between two or more parties to preform or to refrain from some act now or in the future. A legally enforceable agreement |
