Principles of the U.S. Constitution

Reserved Powers (State gov't) elections education/public schools police highways establishing local governments
Concurrent Powers (Shared by National & State gov't) collect taxes establish courts borrow money for local projects, schools, etc. public health and safety enforce the laws
Who has final authority/power when a National and State law are in conflict? Constitution - is supreme law neither National or State gov't can violate the Constitution
