Hemauria | RBCs are present in urine, trauma to urinary organs |
Hemoglobinuria | hemoglobin is present in urine, hemolytic anemias |
Pyuria | WBCs are present in urine, urinary tract infection |
urochrome | a pigment metabolite that gives urine its yellowish color |
Abnormal constituents of urine | glucose, amino acids, fatty acids, and leukocytes |
Normal constituents of urine | water, urea, uric acid, soduim, phosphate, potassium, and creatinine |
Carbonic Acid | weak acid formed from water and carbon dioxide or from H+ and bicarbonate |
