What is an example of a Paradox? When the witches say," Lesser than Macbeth, but greater."
What is a Foil? Examples? It's a character opposite the main character or tragic hero. Examples: Macduff and King Edward

What is an Anchorism? Something's that's out of place in time
What are examples of motifs from the story? Blood, Sleeplessness, Borrowed Robes
What is an example of comic relief? The Porter
What is the main structure of the play? It's written in Acts
What is the play mostly written in? Iambic Pentameter(Blank Verse)
What does a playwright use when they want to hint at things to come in the story? Foreshadowing
What is an example of Dramatic Irony? When Duncan says," This castle has a pleasant scene."
What is a Tragic Hero? A main character, usually an important person with extraordinary abilities and a tragic flaw, a fatal weakness that causes his or her downfall
What is a Soliloquy? A speech that a character gives when they are alone on stage
What is an Aside? When the character speaks only to the audience and the other characters on stage can't hear them
What is a Tragedy? Deals with a serious theme; involves revenge,intrigue, murder, and insanity; involves the Tragic Hero and their downfall
What is a Tragic Flaw? Defect that causes the downfall of the Tragic Hero or Protagonist
