What can we use to help us lift a large mass like a 500-pound piano? A lever
What pivots in the middle of the seesaw to make it go up and down? Fulcrum
One of the greatest laws of nature is that all things tend to become what? Less organized over time
What is stored energy called? Potential energy
Which has stored energy? A match that has already been lit or a fresh apple? A fresh apple
Which has stored energy? A ball stored up on a high shelf or a battery in a remote-controled car that's been used over and over again? A ball
Realeased erergy is called? Kinetic energy (energy in motion)
Is a rotted apple Potential energy or Kinetic energy? Kinetic energy -- because it happens on its own -- you can not restore the apple back to the way it was before it rotted
