Atorvastatin (Lipitor) - antilipidemic, HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor - decrease cholesterol levels and serum lipids, esp. LDL and triglyceride, primary prevention of coronary heart disease in asymptomatic pt with high total and LDL cholesterol and decrease HDL

Bivalinrudin (Angiomax) - anticoagulant, thrombin inhibitor - binds with and inhibit free flowing thrombin, prevent clot formation in patients with unstable angina undergoing cardiac angioplasty
Lepirudin (Refludan) - anticoagulant, thrombin inhibitors - prophylaxis and treatment of thrombosis because of HIT (heparin induced thrombocytioemia)
Desirudin (Iprivask) - anticoagulant, thrombin inhibitor - subcutaneous direct thrombin inhibitor, prevent DVT after hip replacement
