Keyboarding Basics

QuestionAnswer
Filename The name of a file that is saved on the computer
Retrieve Allows the computer operator to get a previously saved file
Document The paper copy or hard copy, the computer produces from the printer.
Click The action of pressing the mouse botton to give the computer a command.
Desktop The area on the computer which shows the icons.
Icon The pictures on the desktop that shows, files, folders, and various types of documents on the desktop.
Bug A mistake or erroe in a computer program or in the design of the computer.
Default Refers to the preset options or varibles on the computer.
Graphics the artwork,diagrams,pictures,charts,and graphs that are displayed on the screen by the computer.
Memory the area in computer in which data is stored for processing.
Menu a listing in a software program that gives you choices of what you can do or parts of the program with which you can work.
