Vicodin, Lorcet, Lortab, Norco, Anexsia, Zydone (Hydrocodone/APAP) A narcotic analgesic (painkiller) combine with a non-narcotic analgesic for the relief of moderately severe pain. A schedule III controlled substance.
Prinivil, Zestril (Linsinopril) ACE Inhibitor, antiangina Use to treat high blood pressure Hypertension), congestive heart failure, and to improve survival after a heart attack.
Zocor (simvastatin) Antihyperlipidemic A Cholesterol-lowering medication that blocks the production of cholesterol (a type of fat) in the body. It also reduces low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and total cholesterol in the blood.
Levoxyl, Levothyroid, Synthroid (Levothyronxine) Thyroid hormone Hormone replacement treats hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone). It is also used to treat or prevent goiter (enlarged thyroid gland), which can be caused by hormone imbalances.
Amoxil, Trimox (Amoxicillin) Penicillin antibiotic Used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as ear infections, bladder infections, pneumonia, gonorrhea, and E. coli or salmonella infection.
Zithromax, Z-Pak Zmax (Azithromycin) Macrolide antibiotic Used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases.
Lipitor (Atorvastatin) Antihyperlipidemic Reduces low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides in certain patients. It also increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL) "good" cholesterol levels.
HydroDIURIL, Microzide, Auazide H (Hydrochlorothiazide) Thiazide diuretic (water pill) Treat fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heart failure (CHF), cirrhosis of the liver, or kidney disorders, or edema caused by taking steroids or estrogen. This medication is also used to treat high blood pressure (HBP).
Xanax (Alprazolam) Bensodiazepine Used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression.
Tenormin (Atenolol) Beta Blocker Used to treat angina (chest pain) and hypertension (HBP). It is also used to treat or prevent heart attack.
