GLUCOPHAGE (metformin) Antidiabetic For people with type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes. Glucophage is sometimes used in combination with insulin or tother medications, but it is not for treating type 1 diabetes.
LOPRESOR (metoprolol) Beta-blockers Used to treat angina (chest pain) and hypertension (high blood pressure)
LASIX (furosemide) Loop diuretic (water pill) Treats fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disorder sucha as nephrotic syndrome. This medication is also used to treat high blood pressure.
BENTYL (dicyclomine HCi) anticholinergic Treating symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, relieves spasms of the muscles in the stomach and instestines.
ZOLOFT (Setraline) Antidepresant SSRIs Used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stess disorder (PTSD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
PRILOSEC, Prilosec OTC (omeprazole) Pronton pump inhibitor PPI Used to reat symtoms of gastroesophageal reflus disease (GERD) and other conditions caused by excess stomach acid.
AMBIEN (Zolpidem) Hypnotic sedative Used for the short-term treatment of insomnia (difficulty falling or staying asleep)
NEXIUM (Esomeprazole) Proton pump inhibitor GI anti-secretory Used to treat symptomps of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
LEXAPRO (Escitalopram) Antidepressant SSRIs Used to treat anxiety in adults and major depressive disorder in adults and adolescents who are at least 12 years old.
OXYCONTIN, Oxyfast, ETH-Oxydose, Oxylr, Percolone, Roxicodone, Roxicodone Intensol(Oxycodone/APAP) narcotic analgesic Used to treat moderate to severe pain.
