Question | Answer |
---|---|
Molarity | number of moles in a drug. Mol/L or M. |
mole | #grams equal to molecular weight of a drug. If molecular weight is 74.6, then one mole = 74.6 grams |
Osmoles = molecular weight/# of ions | equal to the molecular weight of the drug divided by the # ions formed when dissolved in a solution |
Equivalent weight = Eq = molecular wt/valance | equal to the molecular weight divided by the valance of the ions that form when drug is dissolved. |
percent weight per volume | refer to drugs weight gm/100 ml (solid) and volume ml/100 ml (liquid). |
