Tableta Varía en forma,tamaño,peso,dureza y espesor. Vias de administración: oral,uso externo,uso vaginal.
Comprimidas múltiples Tableta que queda en varias capas. Se usa cuando se preparan drogas incompatibles o para liberación sostenida.
Capa azucarada Capa que sirve para proteger la tableta del aire(oxidación) y la humedad y para proveer sabor,solube en agua.
Capa entérica Capa que se disuelve en el intestino para evitar irritación del estómago, o que pueda ser destruida por jugos gástricos.

Sublinguales Debajo de la lengua,se absorbe a través de mucosa oral. Nitroglicerina
Tableta Sublingual Pueden ser destruidas por jugos gástricos o se absorben pobremente en tracto gastrointestinal.
Cubierta fina Cubierta insoluble en agua,más duradera y ocupan menos bulto.
