| Cabinet departments | -made up of the Pres. closest advisors -meets w/ Pres. on a reg. basis (to give advice) -proposes ideas that he thinks should be laws |

| Regulatory groups | Help the Pres. to contol people and buisiness who may try to break the law (EPA) |
