What verbs also undergos a change in the nosotros form of the present subjunctive? Stem-changing -ir verbs.

ser sea, seas, sea, seamos, sean
What is a clause? A sequence of words that contains both a conjugated verb and a subject (expressed or implied).
What happens when the subject of the main (independent) clause exerts influence/will on the subject of the subordintae clause? The verb in the sunordinate clause takes the subjunctive. ex.: Yo quiero que tú vayas al cine conmigo.

What word connects the main and subordinate clauses? que
When is the infinitive used with verbs/expressions of will and influence, emotion, or doubt/denial instead of the subjunctive? If there is no change of subject in the sentence. *In this case you DON'T need to use que.*
alegrarse (de) to be happy (about)
es bueno it's good
es extraño it's strange
es malo it's bad
es mejor it's better
es ridículo it's ridiculous

esperar to hope; to wish

ojalá I hope; I wish *always followed by the subjunctive. que is optional*
What happens to the verb in the subordinate clause if the verb in the main clause implies feelings of doubt/denial, emotions,or will/influence? The verb MUST be in the sunjunctive if the subject is different from the subject of the main clause.
