vi. Dalton’s Law Reveals how a gas behaves when it is part of a mixture of gases- Total pressure exerted by a mixture of gases= sum of the pressures exerted independently by each gas in the mixture. Pressure exerted by each gas (its partial pressure)
vii. Henry’s Law When mixture of gas is in contact with liquid, gas will dissolve in liquid in proportion to its partial pressure. Ability of gas to dissolve in liquid depends on solubility of gas in liquid and temperature of liquid.
